With 186 exotic felines calling the EFRC home, we are one of the largest rescue centers in the United States for abused, unwanted and neglected exotic felines.  Our mission is simple:  We provide permanent homes for exotic felines that have been abused, abandoned or for some reason have nowhere to live out their lives, while educating the public about these beautiful cats. We do not buy or sell cats; We give big cats a home for life; We provide stable social groups; We provide enhanced environments; We provide the best veterinary care.

Since its founding in 1991, the EFRC has served as a nationally recognized leader in big cat rescue, conservation and care.  In the past 17 years the EFRC has grown from its humble beginnings with only three exotic felines to today caring for 186 cats, representing nine different species. We hope through our website you learn not only a little more about the EFRC and our work, but the plight of these majestic cats.

Located one hour west of Indianapolis, Indiana, we are open to the public six days a week, from 10:00 am through 5:00 pm.  We are closed on Monday.  Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child under the age of 12.  Group tour rates and educational programs are available upon request.
